1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at laredoinsulation.com or by requesting services from Laredo Insulation, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use the site.

2. Description of Services

Laredo Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services in Laredo, TX and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, wall insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, insulation removal, and commercial insulation. All services are performed by trained technicians and are subject to a separate written or verbal service agreement.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates provided by Laredo Insulation, whether submitted through our website, by phone, or in person, are non-binding until confirmed in a signed service agreement or written work order. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of assessment and may change if:

  • Site conditions differ materially from what was described or initially observed
  • Additional work is required due to pre-existing damage, moisture, or hazardous materials discovered during the job
  • Material costs change between estimate and project start date
  • The scope of work is changed at the customer's request

Any price changes will be communicated and agreed upon before additional work proceeds.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

Projects are scheduled based on crew availability and project scope. We will make reasonable efforts to honor scheduled dates, but circumstances such as weather, supply delays, or prior project overruns may require rescheduling. We will notify you as early as possible if a change is needed.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice for a job where materials have already been ordered or a crew has been allocated may result in a cancellation fee to cover direct costs incurred.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are specified in your individual service agreement. In general:

  • Residential projects: payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Large or multi-phase commercial projects: a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion of each phase
  • Accepted payment methods are specified in your service agreement

Invoices not paid within the agreed timeframe may accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance, and collection costs including reasonable legal fees may be recovered if the account is referred for collection.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To allow us to perform the work safely and correctly, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your property and existing conditions when requesting an estimate
  • Ensure that the work area is reasonably accessible on the scheduled date
  • Vacate occupants and pets from the work area during spray foam application and for the recommended re-occupancy period after
  • Disclose any known hazardous materials such as asbestos or lead paint before work begins
  • Obtain any homeowner association or landlord approvals required before scheduling work

7. Warranty

Laredo Insulation warrants that all labor will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. Workmanship warranty terms are specified in your service agreement. Material warranties are governed by the individual manufacturer warranties for each product installed.

Warranties do not cover damage resulting from pre-existing structural issues, customer modifications to completed work, water intrusion from sources outside the scope of the insulation work, pest activity, or conditions that were undisclosed at the time of installation. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to team@laredoinsulation.com within the warranty period.

8. Permits and Code Compliance

Where a building permit is required by the City of Laredo or applicable authority, we will identify this before the project begins and either pull the required permit on your behalf (included in the project price) or advise you to obtain it. Work is performed to meet or exceed the requirements of the Texas 2015 IECC and applicable local codes. The required installer R-value certificate will be provided at project completion on all permitted jobs.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Laredo Insulation's total liability for any claim arising from services performed or this website shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or loss of use, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply in full to you.
